Our story
In 2022, Procida was the Italian Capital of Culture, an event that brought great attention to the island. In that context, it was decided to give even more importance to this recognition given to the territory, organizing an event that celebrated and awarded personalities who have distinguished themselves in the field of culture in various forms of art and professions: medical, scientific and artistic, awarding the plaque "Procida rewards Culture".
It is important to distinguish between the "Procida - Isola di Arturo - Elsa Morante Award", a historic literary award, and "Procida premia la Cultura", a broader recognition that celebrates various forms of cultural expression.
The event "Procida premia la Cultura" aims to enhance the contribution of different personalities to the Italian cultural panorama, enriching the cultural offer of the island of Procida.
